Stamped Z-170's are first generation Dreadnought Irons with slightly, but visually seen offset holes compared to standard Z-170's. Each jig is stamped with a "Z" after inspection and approval for sale.
The jigs have slightly, but visually offset eyelet locations of the nose eyelet, tail eyelet, or both.
After many trips, casts, and fish caught with these exclusive Z's, they've proved they belong beside their sister Z-170's.
For the curios:
Relocating an eye on a surface iron is many times a big deal. For these Z-170's, it was found that the hydrodynamic characteristics of the jig body are so intense, that the slightly offset holes are not able to overpower and/or change the way the jig was originally designed to swim.
